Good Monday all!

How are you?

We’ve had a nice weekend, though I did have some work to catch up on. I still managed to find some time to read and relax, but I’m looking forward to our week off in August – even though we’ll be spending most of it home, it will be nice to relax and work on some of ours projects around the house.

Here are the books recently added to my shelves. It’s the usual mix of fantasy and thrillers, I’m especially looking forward to reading Unravel the Dusk as I really enjoyed the first book.

Stay safe everyone! <3

The Shadows by Alex North – Home Before Dark by Riley Sager (audio) – Heart of Flames by Nicki Pau Preto

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins – The Obsidian Tower by Melissa Caruso – Unravel the Dusk by Elizabeth Lim

What did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. It has been so long since I’ve read a Fantasy title. Seeing your books makes me want to pick one up. A holiday at home sounds good. I’m sure you will find plenty to do to fill your time.

  2. I hope you enjoy the new Collins book!

  3. I have Home Before Dark and hope to read it soon. Enjoy your week, and stay safe. Here are my WEEKLY UPDATES

  4. I got The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes last month. I need to find time to reread the original trilogy before I read it because I don’t remember the details of that world! Enjoy your new books.

  5. I hope you enjoy all of your books.

    Have a wonderful day!!

  6. Nice book haul. I’ve been interested in the Lim series. Hope you enjoy all of your books!

  7. How funny – I just recently read three of those books! The Shadows, Home Before Dark, and Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I loved all three of them!

    • Oh, I’m so glad to read that, especially about Songbirds and Snakes. I feel the reviews I’ve seen so far weren’t so great, so that gives me a bit of hope. I’m listening to Home Before Dark now and really enjoying it.
