Top Ten Tuesday – 5 stars predictions!
Join Top Ten Tuesday at That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list theme is posted and all bloggers are welcome to participate!
It’s Tuesday, and this week’s top ten is a freebie! I’ve decided to borrow an an idea I’ve seen some people do on YouTube and which I thought was really fun : today I’ll try to predict which unread books will become favorite books, and be awarded a 5 stars rating (hopefully, in a near future)!
These are all books that are currently on my shelves, many of which have been there for a long time. Of course, I always hope I’ll enjoy the books I’m reading, but these are books that, for a reason or another, I’m pretty sure I’ll absolutely love. I’m hoping to revisit this post a while from now and see how good my prediction skills are!
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier and Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë : two classics I’ve been dying to read for a long while!
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
11/22/63 by Stephen King
The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (I know everyone is talking about The Starless Sea right now, but I should probably read this one first!)
The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson
The Stone Sky by N. K. Kemisin (I love the first two books, so there’s a good chance I’ll enjoy this one too!)
The Diviners by Libba Bray (I actually picked this one up this weekend as I was working on this post, but I’ve only listened to about an hour or two, so it’s a bit early to tell!)
The Sky Weaver by Kristen Ciccarelli (Again, I love the first two books in the series and I’m confident I’ll love this one too).
Do you have 5 stars predictions of your own? Which books are you hoping will be your next favourites?
I hope all of these turn out to be 5-star reads for you. I sure liked Wuthering Heights.

Ooh, a couple of those are 5-star books for me! Rebecca, The Night Circus, and while not The Way of Kings itself (I gave it 4 stars), the series and especially the 2nd book Words of Radiance are 5-star reads! I look forward to hearing your thoughts when you get to all of these!
I loved THE NIGHTINGALE and THE NIGHT CIRCUS. I haven’t read any of your other picks, but I do like Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn series. The size of THE WAY OF KINGS intimidates me, so I haven’t read it yet even though I’ve heard great things about it. I hope all of these do become 5-star reads for you!
Happy TTT!

I love this list! 11/22/63 was one of my favorite King books EVER. And I’m dying to read The Goldfinch. I have a feeling it will be a five star read for me as well.
Rebecca and The Goldfinch were the only two that I gave five stars to, but I did enjoy Wuthering Heights, 11/22/63, and The Diviners as well. Happy Reading!

The Diviners series is one of my all time favorites – January LaVoy is such a talented narrator. 🙂
OMG, at least 6 stars lol to Rebecca!!
