Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday everyone!

I was so happy to have a long weekend I almost forgot to prepare my post for today – and it’s a big one!

I had a mostly good week though. A lot of work, some good reading, and two new books reviews!

With how things have been on the blog for the past couple years, it’s always cause for a small celebration when I manage to post not one, but two book reviews within a single week. Click here to read my reviews of The Last Resort and The Last Mrs. Parrish.

And now, on to the new books! As I mentioned last week, it’s a bit of a big mailbox following my birthday, and I’m still waiting on a few more next week or the one after. And then, I need to take a break from adding books to my shelves, because even though I read a lot, I certainly don’t read 10 books per week!

The Whisper Man was a gift from me to me, and Serpent & Dove and The Turn of the Key were preorders. Other books were from my wishlist and discovered at the store. I’m really looking forward to all of these book, and can I mention how pretty some of these covers are?

Now… which one should I start with?

The Whisper Man by Alex North – Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin –  The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware

Radiant Shimmering Light by Sarah Selecky (library) – If You Leave Me by Crystal Hana Kim

This Little Light by Lori Lansens – Tidelands by Philippa Gregory

The Storm Crow by Kalyn Josephson – The Tethered Mage by Melissa Caruso – Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim
