Good Monday all,
I’m having a tooth removed this Monday, and I can’t say I’m looking forward to it, although this will be the last of the big reparations/works I needed on my teeth. After almost a year of fillings and root canals, I’m finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
Also, I can’t believe we’re in the middle of June already. We’re nearly at the halfway point of 2019, and I feel like I haven’t read half of the books I was hoping to read this year!
Which doesn’t stop me from adding some more, apparently. My Recursion preorder has arrived and I can’t wait to jump into it. I’ve also been in a bit of a true crime mood recently (probably influenced by the podcasts I’ve been listening to while working!) so that explains part of this week’s mailbox. Here are the books I added to my shelves this week :

Chase Darkness With Me by Billy Jensen (audio) – The Killer Across the Table John Douglas and Mark Olshaker
I hope all goes well with the tooth extraction! One of my daughters is a fan of true crime podcasts so I get the attraction. I hope you love your new books!

Ooh, I always dread dental work, and last fall had a new bridge installed, which seemed to take forever. Then I chipped an edge of it recently, which led to a mini-repair for now.
