Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday readers,

I’m a little late today and almost forgot about this post, but I really wanted to talk about the books I added to my shelves in the past two weeks! It’s an exciting lot as most of these are authors I’ve read before.

I read Crazy Rich Asians about a week ago and tremendously enjoyed it. It definitely felt like a guilty pleasure kind of book and I immediately wanted to grab the two sequels, so I did. I’m planning on reading them after seeing the movie next week.

Other authors I’ve read and enjoyed among those are Tiffany D. Jackson, who wrote the excellent Allegedly, and Neal Shusterman, author of the amazing Scythe (and Thunderhead, which I still have to review). I used to hear great things about Unwind but never actually got to it, so I thought I would give it a try while waiting for the next book in the Arc of a Scythe series.

China Rich Girlfriend & Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan

Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton – Monday’s Not Coming by Tiffany D. Jackson

Sanctuary by Caryn Lix – Unwind by Neal Shusterman

What books did you recently add to your shelves?
