toptentuesday (1)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week is posted a new Top Ten list idea that all bloggers are welcome to discuss.

Psychological, horror, domestic, YA, true crime, historical : I love thrillers and mysteries and my shelves are full of them! It’s not surprise, then, that I had an easy time finding 10 thrillers I’ve recently added to my TBR list –  it could easily have been 20! I was reasonable though; so here they are, in a variety of genres and categories.

1 – The Fact of a Body by Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich

2 – The Arsonist by Stephanie Oakes (Can I just mention how striking that cover is!)

3 – Final Girls by Riley Sager

4 – One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus

5 – Here Lies Daniel Tate by Cristin Terrill

6 – Emma in the Night by Wendy Walker

7 – He Said/She Said by Erin Kelly

8 – The Last Place You Look by Kristen Lepionka

9 – A Stranger in the House by Shari Lapena

10 – Little Monsters by Kara Thomas

What are some of your recommendations for the Halloween season?

  2. Final Girls was AWESOME. I loved it.
One of us is Lying is a book I hope to read too, one day. Nice list!!

    • Oh I am so happy to hear you enjoyed Final Girls! I haven’t heard much from early readers yet, so that’s exciting.

  3. I LOVE THRILLERS!!! LOVE!! I’m reading Final Girls right now. The Arsonist, Here Lies Daniel Tate, and Little Monsters are all on my TBR for summer. Also, One of Us is Lying was very good. Definitely a mystery that I didn’t figure out until the reveal!

The Last Place You Look sounds really good too!! I’m adding that one!

    • Can’t wait to see what you think of all of these, and really glad to know you enjoyed One of Us is Lying. I’m hoping I can get it soon!

  4. I haven’t read a thriller in ages – it’s something I totally have to be in the mood for.
I’ve been hearing really positive things about One of Us is Lying. Hope you enjoy it!

    • Thank you! I’ve heard good things about this one too and I’m looking forward to it.
I get what you mean about thrillers though: that’s how I feel about horror and romance, too!

  5. Thrillers are always a go-to genre for me and your list looks great. I have Final Girls on order from the library and can’t wait to read it. I recently added a book to my TBR you might like: The Breakdown by B.A. Paris. It sounds like it might be a great fit for your list.

    • Oh! I hadn’t realized B.A. Paris’ new book was coming soon before you mentioned it. I enjoyed Behind Closed Doors so I’ll definitely read this one too. Thanks!

  6. I’m reading One of Us Is Lying at the moment, it’s pretty good.
