Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Happy Monday all!

I’m just coming back from 5 days in the woods, where the Man and I rented a small cabin and spent our time relaxing, reading and eating s’mores. We had great weather and I managed to kick 5 books off my TBR shelf, in a perfect setting for reading. It’s the same place we visited last year and I absolutely adore it, it’s quiet and restful and everything smells good (except the latrine, ergh!)

In the past two weeks I also added a few books to my shelves. In fact, I already read All the Missing Girls on vacation! I’ll be posting a review soon, but I can at least say I enjoyed it a lot. The audio for Movie Star has been fun so far too, it feels perfect for the summer.

  1. I swear your incoming book jackets always coordinate. Your getaway sounds marvelous. I want one of those hammocks!

  2. I spent some time in the woods and at the beach week before last….both are very conducive to relaxing, aren’t they? I like the look of your reading spot.

I loved All the Missing Girls….and I’m eyeing The Trap. I don’t think I’ve read that Margaret Atwood book, either.

Enjoy! Thanks for visiting my blog.

  3. sounds like your time in the woods was worth it. Have a great week.

  4. Lots of good looking books there. Enjoy!

  5. Sounds like you had a great time! Well, except for the latrine, lol. Enjoy your new books.

  6. I’ll be curious to see what you think of the Atwood book.
