Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Hello all!

Oh wow! How long has it been since I posted anything here, except for a picture once? Quite a while, hasn’t it? I can’t remember the last time I took time off from the blog like this, but we’ve been having such a busy time! Traveling, spring cleaning, contemplating some changes, too (we might be moving soon… fingers crossed!)

All of these weeks away from the blog means that I’ve got a ton of books to mention here today. Most of them are YA contemporaries (summer is coming, my favorite time for these!), except The Unexpected Appearance of Hope (because Claire North), and a beautiful edition of The Wizard of Oz. Really excited for all of these!

Highly Illogical Behavior by John Corey Whaley  – The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum

Gena/Finn by Hannah Moskowitz & Kat Helgeson – I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios – Two Summers by Aimee Friedman (audio)

What books did you recently add to your shelves?

  1. Sounds like you’ve been having a lot of fun! Hope you enjoy Simon vs the Homo Sapiens agenda, I loved his character!

    • It’s one I’m really looking forward to reading! 🙂

  2. I hope you love The Lifeboat Clique. I thought it was the perfect mix of humorous and serious. I also want to read Gena/Finn at some point this summer. I kind of love the sounds of it even though I haven’t LOVED the other books I’ve read by the author. Happy reading 🙂

    • I’m so glad to have read your comment on The Lifeboat Clique, it makes me look forward to reading it even more and I haven’t seen many reviews of it!

  4. That Wizard of Oz book has an awesome cover!

    • It’s a really beautiful edition! It looks great inside and out, I’m completely in love with it 🙂

  5. Real life is so much more important than a blog. I hope things work out and you get to move.

Your new books look great, especially The Square Root of Summer.

    • You are right, it is. I do miss blogging though when I’m away for a while!

  6. Looks like you got some great books, have fun reading them. And good luck with the changes, hope everything works out.

    Happy Reading!

  7. These all look so good…The Unexpected Everything has such a lovely cover. Enjoy them all, and you have a lot ahead for you if you are moving.

    Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

    • Thank you, we do have a lot to do, but I plan to relax with some reading whenever I can. And I agree about The Unexpected Everything’s cover 🙂

  8. I don’t even have to read what The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson is about. I want a copy solely based on the cover!

    Enjoy all your books

    • That was pretty much my thought process about that cover! But I also enjoyed one other book by the author, so I have a good feeling 🙂
      Thanks for stopping by!

  9. Love the cover on The Square Root of Summer.

ENJOY all of your books and your week.
