Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday readers!

Hope you all had a great week! The Man of the House was off work, so even though on my side I still had some work to do, we managed to spend a lot of time relaxing, having fun and simply enjoying our time together. It was good, because this coming week will be very busy for the both of us, as we both take on new projects (his more significant than mine, I’ll admit, but still!) It’s an exciting, if slightly frightening, time in our life.

I read some, too, and managed to complete two audiobooks in a week, something I hadn’t done in quite a while! And evidently, I added some books to my shelves, which are all YA fantasy, and all red and blue. I’d been waiting on The Winner’s Kiss to officially be available before I got my hands on the last two books of the trilogy, and now I’m excited that I get to read them back to back if I wish. This is the kind of fluffy, entertaining reading I like to do when life gets a little more stressful, so it seems these new books arrived home just in time 🙂

  1. I just recently bought Stars Above too – so very good!

    • I’m happy to hear you loved it! I have to catch up a little with the series before I get to it though!

  2. Gorgeous covers and they coordinate so well!

  3. Enjoy your new books…I’ve never read these authors, but I love the covers!

Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog. Glad you had a good week….and you asked about The Ranch, which I’m watching. Finished four episodes. I liked that two of the stars were “old favorites” of mine: Sam Elliott and Debra Winger. Ashton Kutcher is okay, but I can take him or leave him. LOL.

The most unexpected thing: there’s a laugh track! I’m not used to that in a Netflix show. But after a while, I didn’t notice it much.

    Have a great week!

    • Haha, your comment about Ashton makes me laugh, that’s exactly how I feel about him.

And that laugh track really is unexpected. Hmmm. I’m very curious about this show now. I think I’ll give it a try soon. Thank you for your response (and sorry for being so slow getting back to you!)

  4. I haven’t started The Winner’s series yet-guess I’d better get on that, huh? Everybody loves those books! Hope that these reads will relax you during your busy week! The blue and red book covers are striking!

  5. Gorgeous covers….ENJOY!!

    Have a good week.
