Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday readers!

Wow, can you believe I’ve done 200 of these things!?? How many books is that? Do I really want to know the answer to this question? No, I probably don’t… Hey look, new books!

So, I’m sort of cheating this week since I technically haven’t received all of these four books yet : indeed, I am still waiting on Hidden Bodies. But I am way – WAY – too excited about it coming out tomorrow, and I couldn’t wait until next week to mention it. I’ve pre-ordered my audiobook and kept a close eye on the hours left before I can click the download button, as well as rushed through my latest audiobook this weekend to make sure my ears would be 100% dedicated to the task on Tuesday. I’ve never been this excited about a stalker before, and I’m a little scared to know what this says about me, but I’m glad the book is finally here!

I am also looking forward to these other books, too (all audio, except for In a Dark Dark Wood), though for now they live in the shadow of Caroline Kepnes’ new book. It’s a bit of a thrillerific selection, too, which balances out with all the YA I’ve been adding lately.

  1. Ha, I’m not quite to 200 Mailbox Mondays – that IS impressive, Kay 🙂 Hidden Bodies is on several lists this week. I hope you love it!

  2. I’m listening to Black-Eyed Susans now and might grab Hidden Bodies next.

  3. Wow! 200 Mailbox Monday’s is impressive! And so are your books this week! I have seen Hidden Bodies everywhere this week and it is on my TBR list now, along with her first book. Have a great week!

  5. I haven’t kept count of my Monday Reading posts, but I’m sure there have been many!

Enjoy those books…I loved Pretty Girls and Black-Eyed Susans. Hidden Bodies piques my interest, but I haven’t yet managed to get through You…I really hated Joe! LOL.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and have a great week.

    • Haha! Your comment about hating Joe makes me laugh- though he has his witty moments, he’s certainly not someone I’d like to meet!
Thanks for visiting, too, and enjoy your week! 🙂

  6. All of your books look so good. I do have pretty girls to read. Maybe next week I will add that one to read.

  7. All your books look interesting. I hope you enjoy all of them.

  8. I love all the covers. Happy reading! 🙂

I recently added Paul Kalanithi’s ‘When Breath Becomes Air’. I am sure it’s going to break my heart.

    • I heard about this one, it sounds heartbreaking. I just lost an uncle to lung cancer so I don’t think I would be able to read it just now, but I’ve definitely been curious about it.

  9. I definitely don’t want to know how many books I have added to my shelves over the years! lol

    • I’m content just to enjoy the sight of my overflowing bookshelves, no need to count! haha!

  10. Two hundred – wow. I don’t think I’ve done that many, but I’ve haven’t counted them either!

Hidden Bodies and Black-eyed Susans were both 5-star reads for me. Hope you enjoy them.

    • I’m surprised I kept with it for 200 times, but over 7+ years, it doesn’t sound so bad.

I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed Hidden Bodies and Black-Susans. I’ve enjoyed both authors before so I had a few expectations 🙂
