Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday everyone!

I’m a little late with posting today, but I do have an exciting mailbox to share! It includes a forever-wished-for book (These Broken Stars) and the sequel to a recently loved book (Scarlet).

It also includes Stephen King’s latest collection, which I’m very eager to read; my introduction to King decades ago was with his Midnight collection (I still have nightmares about The Langoliers). And finally, happily found on clearance was a hardback copy of You, which I absolutely loved in audiobook. I rarely get books in more than one format, but after such a phenomenal audio narration, I was very curious to see how the book read on paper.

What books did you recently add to your shelves?

  1. Will you re-read You in print? I wonder if it would be as creepy that way.

    • I will! I wonder the same thing. Of course I’ll be going in knowing a little of what to expect, but I’m still curious about the difference of the experience.

  2. I have You on my Kindle…and started it, but then set it aside. I will probably pick it up again.

I am curious about Cinder….I haven’t read many retellings, but this is a popular series. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

  3. Always nice to find sale books for the permanent library 🙂 I do that once in a while.

  4. My mom dropped off Stephen King’s latest this past holiday since I won’t see her for Christmas this year. She dropped off all the holiday gifts for Thanksgiving. 🙂 I hope you enjoy the book.

  5. Scarlet is so much fun!

  6. *shivers* The Bazaar of Broken Dreams Cover is freakkkyyyy.
