Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Hello everyone, and happy Monday!

How was your week?

Hurt back aside (insert groans here), mine was quite good, I have to say; not only did I receive some awesome books, this week the Man and I also, like many others, bought our tickets for the next Star Wars movie. I’m really looking forward to this one! 🙂

As for books, I think I’ve got a good selection here. Six of Crows has received a lot of praise as a “YA fantasy meets Ocean 11” type of book, and this intrigues me a lot. And Illuminae just looks amazing. It’s shiny and filled with pages in all kinds of formats (reports, letters, chats, etc). Really interesting looking; let’s hope the story is just as good!

  1. I was curious about Illuminae so I followed the link to Goodreads where the author’s “review” is one of the first community reviews. It’s quite entertaining in a visual way. Sounds like a book many readers will love!

  2. I almost picked Zeroes up for my husband. I’ll be watching for your review.

  3. It looks like you have a great selection. Sorry to hear about your back. Back pain can be the worst. I hope you feel better soon. Have a great week Kay.

  4. I’ve been seeing Illuminae everywhere! It sounds intense, and while it’s not my usual read, I’ll be watching for your thoughts on it.

Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.

    • Sorry about your back! I can relate, having had back issues for years.

  5. I don’t know these books, but I like the covers.

I hope your back is better soon. A sore back is the worst.

    ENJOY!!
