Filling the Shelf – 168

Filling the Shelf simply is Mailbox Monday, but with a title that suits my blog! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Hello and Good Monday, Readers!

How was your week? What great books have you read, which new books have you received?

My mailbox this week was amazing. I know I say this almost every week, but this week (and possibly the next, but we’ll see!) was particularly exciting: the latest from Courtney Summers, who is a favorite of mine, makes me particularly happy! I’ve also loved Cynthia Hand’s books and Kimberly McCreight’s Reconstructing Amelia, so I’m looking forward to reading more from them. And finally, I heard great things about All the Light We Cannot See and The Three just sounds super captivating. Time to crack these books open!

  1. You did have a fab week in books! You are all set for summer reading. The Last Time We Say Goodbye is lovely and sad, and Luckiest Girl Alive is a doozy. Can’t wait to hear what you think of All the Light We Cannot See. I’ve been meaning to read that for forever. Have a great week!

  2. I was at a party on Saturday and two friends were discussing All the Light… – one loved it while the other was struggling. The first woman said just hang in there for the first hundred pages because then it really takes off. Its been on my list and I hope to read it at some point. I hope all of your new books are wonderful.

  3. Fabulous mailbox! I’ve heard wonderful things about Luckiest Girl Alive.

  4. Great haul! I enjoyed Where They Found Her….and I want to read Luckiest Girl Alive. Thanks for visiting my blog, and have a great week.

  5. So many good ones!! Enjoy!

  6. I may have to break down and buy that Doerr book, since I’ve been on hold at the library forever!

  7. Looking forward to your thoughts on All the Light We Cannot See. It’s in my summer reading pile. Happy reading!

  8. Very nice mailbox

I still haven’t gotten to read ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE.

ENJOY your books and your reading week.
