It’s YA Contemporary Reading Month!

It’s July 1st, and on top of being Canada’s Day (Hurray for you, Canada!), it is also the start of my month dedicated to reading YA contemporaries! So exciting!

I have always felt that summer was the perfect time to read them, and I had a great time doing something similar for 2 weeks last year – and the results at the finish line were better than expected! While I doubt I’ll be able to double the amount of reading I did, I am fairly certain I can do at least as much, if not more, than last time!

I already pre-selected books that recently arrived for the occasion, but I have a few more on audio, on ebooks and on the shelves.

I am starting with We Were Liars.

What should I read next? What will you be reading this July?

  1. What an excellent stack of contemporary books! I’ve read 7/13 and think you’re in for a treat! I have a few of these in my summer stack too like Dangerous Girls, SYBG, #scandal, and On the Fence.
    Happy summer reading!
