toptentuesday (1)

Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week is posted a new Top Ten list idea that all bloggers are welcome to discuss.

With what little reading I did this past couple of months, I feel like I could have easily compiled a list of 20 titles I wanted to read this winter! But after playing “this or that” with the books of my list for a little while, I selected a few favorites I would love to read this coming winter (once I am done with my Christmas reading, of course!)

Here we go :

tttwintertbr1

1 – Life after Life by Kate Atkinson

2 – The Universe Versus Alex Woods by Gavin Extence

3 – The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith

4 – The Unchangeable Spots of Leopard by Kristopher Jansma

5 – The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer

6 – The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon

7 – Vicious by V.E. Schwab

8 – The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman

9 – The Shade of the Moon by Susan Beth Pfeffer

10 – Omens by Kelley Armstrong

What will you be reading from your shelves this winter? Also if you’ve read any of these, what did you think? Which one should I start with?

  1. Life After Life is such a great book. It is such an unusual story and Kate Atkins is a wonderful writer. Certainly the case where the book lives up to the hype.

  2. You’ve got some good ones to curl up with on a cold winter day.

  3. You’ve got some wonderful titles picked out! I’ve only read The Interestings and I have my eye on Vicious and Life After Life. Love the cover of Unchangeable Spots!
    Happy winter reading, Kay!

  4. I’m intrigued by Life after Life. I will keep my eyes pealed for that review.

  5. Life After Life was so good! I actually read it at the end of last winter or maybe early spring? The Ocean at the End of the Lane and Omens were also really good. I can’t wait until the sequel for Omens and I was happy I had a good experience with Gaiman. He is kind of hit or miss with me. The rest of your books look good, too! Happy reading!

P.S. The Diviners was really good! I can’t wait for the sequel next year.

  6. Great list! I really want to read The Bone Season and The Cuckoo’s Calling soon too! They both sound great!
