Filling the Shelf – 100 (!!!)

Filling the Shelf is basically Mailbox Monday or the more recent Stacking the Shelves, but with a title that suits my blog! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, I invite you to visit the two hosts!

Hey everyone!

Can you believe it? This is my 100th “Filling the Shelf” post! I won’t dare counting how many books I received over the years, haha! But I’m just so happy to still have the opportunity to share about the books I receive and love (and even the ones I don’t end up loving!)

It feels kind of silly to be adding books only to pack them away for the move, but as always I am super happy with the ones that landed home in the past couple weeks. I also received books for reviews, one that accidentally multiplied itself so expect a giveaway soon!

And now, the beloved books; two from favorite authors (Rutherfurd and Kinsella), one I was curious about after reading reviews from favorite bloggers (In the Shadow of Blackbirdsand The Panopticon. This one really intrigued me, because I wrote a huge philosophical/art historical paper on Bentham and Foucault’s theories, and I can’t wait to see how this translates into fiction. It looks like a YA novel, but apparently, it really isn’t. Can’t wait to read it!

  1. I really want to get my hands on a copy of In the shadow of blackbirds, it sounds really interesting. I love Sophie Kinsella, her Shopaholic books are my guilty pleasure! Enjoy x

  2. I’m jealous of Wedding Night and can’t wait to see what you think of it.

  3. I’m also about to add Wedding Night to my shelf, but now I’m also really, really curious about Paris: The Novel…

  4. Ooo I look forward to your thoughts on Wedding Night.

  5. Happy 100th Filling the Shelf! Wedding Night looks super cute. Hope all your books are awesome 🙂

  6. I’ve loved all of Sophie Kinsella’s books so I’m sure I’ll be picking up this one! Although I’ve yet to actually read the last one she published, so that might be first on my list.

And while I’ve never read anything by Edward Rutherford, the more I see of Paris, the more I want to read it.

  7. 100th FIS post already?! Congratulations!
