Wordless Wednesday : The Overdue Knit Sweater

This sweater had been sitting on my needles for over 18 months. Finally finished it as a late Christmas present for the Man of the House! Still needs to be properly blocked so the ribs will be flatter though!

Gorgeous sweater!! Did you knit the hat and scarf too? I swear those photos could be in a catalog.

Yes, I did! I have pictures somewhere; I’ll go through my old blog posts and link them here!
I had fun both making the sweater and taking the pictures with him!
Thank you very much for your comment

Everything looks great! I love the knit photoshoots I’ve seen in the snow lately! I’ve got knit a sweater for my husband on my list for 2013 …

Thank you! It was fun to take pictures in the snow because the weather was gorgeous that day. Not sure I would do this all winter haha!

I hope you find the time and inspiration to knit for your husband too!

I love that in the later pictures, you can see the details of the snowflakes that have drifted down. That is just the coolest thing I have ever seen! I love this sweater. It’s so classically styled, and the yarn you chose was just perfect. Oh, how I wish I could knit!!

This is AMAZING. I seriously am in awe of your knitting prowess. I can do scarves and things for the dogs, but I’ve yet to master a knit piece of clothing for a human that isn’t lumpy and misshapen. Simon must be loving this!

Wow, thank you Steph! I do remember you making a beautiful orange sweater though

And yes, he is loving it. I have yet to get a chance to block it because he wants to wear it all the time in these cold days!
