Filling the Shelf – 79

Filling the Shelf is basically Mailbox Monday or the more recent Stacking the Shelves, but with a title that suits my blog! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, I invite you to visit the two hosts!

Happy Sunday all!

My first mailbox in a while! Yippee! With the move, I haven’t read as much as I would have liked, but I also shopped for books less that I usually do. Good thing for my shelves and my wallet, I’d say!

Since I’m not exactly sure of what I got in the last couple of months, today I’ll only mention the books I received this week, at our new address. It was somewhat exciting to receive books at our new place!

Days of Blood & Starlight by Laine Taylor  (It’s here! It’s here! I’m so excited I almost don’t want to read it, if that makes sense!)

Flame of Sevenwaters by Juliet Marillier  (The sixth books in the Sevenwaters series; the original trilogy is a huge favorite of mine, and I have been crazily waiting for the three last books to be published before I finally read them!)

The Scorpio Races and The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater  (Loved her werewolves series, and heard great things about both books. I’m excited!)

What did you add to your shelves recently? Have you read one of these books?

  2. My copy of DoB&S should arrive next week with The Raven Boys. Couldn’t be more excited to read either of them. Love me some Maggie Stiefvater and Laini Taylor is such an awesome writer. + DoB&S’s cover is just so freaking gorgeous. Ugh, jealous of you that you get to read them already, heh. Hope you enjoy! 😉 Happy reading 🙂

PS. Your blog is absolutely stunning! And I like that you’re into photography, I’m currently looking for a new objective to gift myself for Christmas (is that weird? Idk, I make gift for others, but it’s always great to take care of my needs as well). Hope you have a lovely day ahead of you 🙂

  3. I’ve heard great things about Daughter series. Hope you enjoy.
Happy reading and have a great week!
