Filling the Shelf – 72

Filling the Shelf is basically Mailbox Monday or the more recent Stacking the Shelves, but with a title that suits my blog! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, I invite you to visit the two hosts!

Happy Saturday all!

July is coming to an end and I am proud to announce that this month, the TBR pile has gotten smaller instead of bigger! I don’t take note of this every month, but this time around the difference in number between acquisitions and books read was significant enough that I noticed it.

So this week, two new books :

Spark by Amy Kathleen Ryan (read Glow and liked it, though I still have to review it!)

The Colour of Magic by  Terry Pratchett (Apparently, Terry Pratchett is awesome and I will love it, but I have long been intimidated by the length of his series! Not anymore, though!)

What did you add to your shelves recently? Have you read one of these two books? Any advice on whether I should read Pratchett’s books in chronological order or by series? I saw a huge chart of it and it’s confusing, people!

  7. I read the Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman book Good Omens because someone insisted that I would like it, and I expected that I wouldn’t finish it . . . until I got reading. It was definitely one of those books that surprises you once you get into it. Speaking to other people about other Terry Pratchett books, I’ve heard the same reaction. I bet you’ll enjoy it! I hope so! Best wishes.

  8. I love Terry Pratchett. HOpe you enjoy his book. Thanks for visiting.

  9. “the TBR pile has gotten smaller instead of bigger!”

Good for you! That’s totally fab! I’m definitely the opposite, haha.

I hope you get your review of Glow posted soon! I’d love to read it, since I have yet to start that book!
