The Infinite Shelf is having its first giveaway! It was time, wasn’t it?
Sookie Stackhouse is a cocktail waitress in small-town Louisiana, but she keeps to herself and doesn’t date much because of her “disability” to read minds. When she meets Bill, Sookie can’t hear a word he’s thinking. He’s the type of guy she’s waited for all of her life, but he has a disability, too–he’s a vampire with a bad reputation. When one of Sookie’s coworkers is killed, she fears she’s next.
You might have seen the show “True Blood” and been wanting to read the book that inspired it; or maybe you’ve been curious about this series, but have yet to read it. The miracle of life is, I ended up with 2 copies of this one (that I have yet to read, too), so I thought it would be a great occasion to offer one of those to my readers!

About the only vampire I even know is Angel (other than those in Interview with a Vampire). And at least Angel was a “good” vampire most of the time, so I’m going with him. That’s why I’d like this book– to explore this genre.
